Hi everyone – I’m Andrea, otherwise known as Dre!

I am a mom of all sorts – I have a toddler, I’m a birth mom to a now teenager (CRAZY!), and have two fur babies as well as being a wife, daugther, sister, and friend.

I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota and have my Bachelors degree in Foods and Nutrition but right out of college I got a job in healthcare and still work in the industry to this day. I recently felt the itch to share my true passion in life – all things food, fitness, and overall wellbeing. I am here to share tips, tricks, recipes, workouts and everything in between to feed both mind and body while keeping it simple! Let’s be honest – with a full time job and being a toddler mom, there just isn’t enough time in the day to keep it anything but simple.

When I first came up with the idea of Eats by Dre, I contemplated whether I was limiting myself by putting ‘eats’ in the name. I didn’t just want to be a website for recipes or related solely to food because I really believe there is so much more to overall health and wellbeing than just the food we eat. As I sat with it I realized, not only do we feed our bodies with food, we also feed our bodies AND minds with the workouts or physical activity we do, the hobbies we partake in, the content and information we consume and so on. So just because it isn’t food doesn’t mean we don’t eat it up!
