Hi Everyone, Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!
We spent ours enjoying fall activities, and it was an absolute blast! On Saturday, we visited Ferguson’s Minnesota Harvest in Jordan, MN. They have everything from a pumpkin patch and apple orchard to farm animals, tons of kids’ activities, and an amazing selection of food and drinks. We spent several hours there and still didn’t get to do half of what they offer. Next year, I’ll definitely go earlier in the season so we can visit multiple times, especially since admission includes a season pass!
With other locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin, they’re open daily until November 3rd. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend checking it out!
Other than that, Adam and I watched The Exorcist after Ava went to bed that night. We’ve said we’re going to watch scary movies we haven’t seen before this year, but so far, that’s the only one we’ve finished! We don’t get a chance to sit down and watch TV together very often, so it takes us forever to get through anything.
On Sunday, the weather was gorgeous, so we spent the morning on a family trip to Home Depot to pick up some fall flowers and pots to rehome a few of our garden plants for the winter. We’re planning to completely redo our garden in the spring, so Adam’s been busy prepping the old spot this fall. Ava loves helping us dig in the dirt, so she had a blast assisting with that! After we finished up in the garden, Ava helped me make cookies, which was so much fun. I’ve been trying to give her more little tasks in the kitchen, so I’m always excited to find simple activities we can do together.
Now, let’s talk about a few products I’m loving this season! Of course, these can be enjoyed any time of year too but these are some of my favorite items as of late!
Garmin vívoactive 5 Smartwatch
I used Fitbit for years, but after hearing so many great reviews about Garmin, I decided it was time for a change—and I’m so glad I did! I absolutely love my Garmin. First off, the battery life is amazing, usually lasting over a week and a half on a single charge. I primarily use my watch to track steps, sleep, and daily workouts, and it does a fantastic job with all of that.
One standout feature, especially if you’re a golfer, is Garmin Golf. It’s a separate app you install, and you can download courses so that while you’re playing, it uses satellite data to show you the distance to the hole and lets you easily track your score right on the watch.
If you’re in the market for a smartwatch, I highly recommend checking it out!
Cure Hydration Electrolyte Drink Mix
This drink mix is delicious and doesn’t contain all the sugar you find in many other electrolyte or sports drinks. The ingredient list is impressive too—sweetened with stevia and monk fruit, and colored with vegetable juices instead of artificial dyes. I love using it during or after a workout to replenish electrolytes, but it’s also perfect anytime you need a hydration boost. I’ve tried nearly every flavor and loved them all, but my top three are tropical punch, berry pomegranate, and strawberry kiwi.
I have no idea why I stuck with tampons for so long—I should have switched to a cup sooner! It’s been a total game-changer, giving me so much peace of mind during my period. I never have to worry about leaks, it’s easy to insert and empty, and it’s so much better for the environment. There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, and it’s definitely easier to empty at home, but it takes a long time to fill up for me (of course, everyone’s experience is different), so I’ve never had to worry about it while out in public. I highly recommend it to all the ladies!
This top is so comfy and cute and gives me Free People vibes for a fraction of the cost. I haven’t shopped at Kohl’s for awhile and always forget how many cute things they actually have. Plus, they run sales all the time so it’s usually easy to snag something for less than full price!
CRZ Yoga High-Waisted Leggings
If you don’t own any CRZ Yoga from Amazon yet, what are you doing?! These leggings are amazing! I have them in multiple colors and I still want more. They offer tons of color options, and most have matching sports bras and tops as well. While I’ve never owned anything from Lululemon, I’ve heard from multiple influencers that these are great dupes—except these are only $32!
That wraps up my fall favorite products! Whether you’re looking to stay cozy, hydrated, or just want to try something new, I hope you found something here to love this fall season!
As always, I’d love to hear about any of your personal favorite fall must-haves or if you try or have tried any of the products above, feel free to drop a comment below with your thoughts!
Stay hungry my friends!
