Dre’s Winter Favorites

Hi, you guys! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful start to the year and have been able to stick to the goals you set for yourselves. I’ve been feeling so great lately by making small changes, and I hope to keep building on those habits!

I also have an exciting professional announcement coming up! I can’t share more details just yet, but it’s something I’ve wanted for years, and seeing all my hard work pay off has been incredibly exciting. Stay tuned!

Let’s jump into all the products I’ve been loving lately! This was a tough one to narrow down, and I still ended up with a longer list than my usual favorites posts—but these are just too good not to share!

Lumi Glotion

The L’Oréal Lumi Glotion is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite makeup products. I especially love it in the winter when my skin tends to look dull—it gives just the right amount of light coverage while adding a beautiful, radiant glow. I’m obsessed!

Under Eye Masks

I went through a long stretch of terrible sleep, but thankfully, it’s gotten much better. Of course, I still have those nights of less-than-ideal rest, so on mornings when my face needs a little pick-me-up, I love using these eye masks. They’re so easy to apply and leave my under-eyes feeling hydrated and refreshed!

Magnesium + Ashwagandha Supplement

Speaking of sleep struggles, magnesium has been all over the internet for its sleep benefits. After dealing with restless nights, I finally decided to start taking a magnesium supplement before bed. I love this one because it also includes ashwagandha, which helps reduce stress and anxiety while promoting better sleep. On top of that, magnesium supports so many other essential bodily functions. Of course, consult your doctor if you have questions about supplements—this blog is not medical advice!

Propolis Throat Spray

It’s that time of year when illnesses are everywhere, especially with all the germs Ava brings home from daycare. At one point, I had a terrible sore throat and came across this throat spray—people were raving about how well it works. I can confirm: I absolutely love it! Whenever I feel a sore throat coming on, I use 1-2 sprays, and it’s almost instantly gone. I will say the taste isn’t great, but the fast and effective relief makes it 100% worth it.

Walking Pad

If you live somewhere cold like I do, I highly recommend getting a walking pad. I used to struggle to hit 10,000 steps a day in the winter, but now it’s so much easier. Since I work from home, I can hop on it during meetings or while doing busy work. If you have a desk job in an office, many workplaces offer standing desks, which make it possible to use a walking pad there too. And if walking during work isn’t an option, it’s also great to use while watching your favorite Netflix series or reading a book. Walking is one of the best exercises for longevity, so if you need help getting in more movement, I can’t recommend this enough!

Lounge Set

I don’t even need to say much about this one! It’s lightweight, cute, and so comfortable. Plus, for my fellow tall girls, the pants come in multiple inseam options and don’t shrink after washing and drying—major win!

Atomic Habits by James Clear

I feel like I’m late to the Atomic Habits train, but I finally read it for the first time and absolutely loved it. It’s such a great read for anyone trying to implement goals and habits into their life, so I figured January was the perfect time to pick it up. This is one of those books you can revisit whenever you need a little motivation or a refresher on how to make good habits stick!

  1. I bought this Magnesium supplement thanks to you, and so far have been enjoying it. I love supplements so I’m excited about it!
Also, I have used a similar brand to the Bee&You brand of honey pouches, and they really helped so I’m pumped to try the spray too! The packets I got were the Beekeepers Naturals Liposomal Propolis with Vitamin C. You are right in saying they don’t taste the best lol but they work, so that’s all I care about!
